About Pando & Page Press

Pando & Page Press publishes parent-friendly classical workbooks that help students meet old readings with structure, context, conversation, and clear written judgment.

Many trunks, one root

Why Pando

Pando & Page Press takes its name from Pando, the great quaking aspen grove in Utah: many trunks joined by one hidden root system. From old and enduring sources, new readers can rise, branch out, and learn to think with care.

Children need more than the ability to read. They need the habit of thinking clearly about what they read and the confidence to express that thinking with care.

Broad parent-led use

Rooted in the Western classical tradition, the series is designed for homeschool families and parent-led supplemental learning.

Visible method

Students learn a repeatable path from reading to written answer.

Source integrity

Readings come from documented public-domain editions and translations. Retellings, excerpts, translators, source notes, and visual credits are identified inside each workbook.

Editorial approach

Rooted in enduring texts

The series draws from short public-domain classical and classic readings, with a strong emphasis on familiar works from the Western tradition, including ancient Greece and Rome.

Family setting

Rooted in the Western classical tradition, the series is designed for homeschool families and parent-led supplemental learning.

No advance parent preparation is required, while conversation is recommended to help students deepen their reading and test their ideas.
